Robertson Logos Christian School is often referred to as a MODEL A.C.E. school in the Western Cape and is consistently awarded Silver Status in recognition for it’s high academic achievements and adherence to quality standards.
We are registered under the Langeberg Schools Sport Union and play our matches in the Small Schools League.

Qualified, experienced educators effectively teaching in a small class environment, offering each unique individual the opportunity to develop to their full, God-given potential. Lectures and textbooks at university level are in English and parents want their children to have that language advantage. Robertson Logos Christian School is an independent, parent owned school for the sole purpose of providing a high standard of education and not for personal or financial gain of any of its members. Build character so that they will be successful in life and prepare children for the world they face when they leave school. The Logos Governing Body members are elected by the Parents of Logos, except for the Logos Staff, the Pastor and if required any member that may be co-opted for their skills to fill a specific Portfolio on the Governing Body e.g. Constitutionally, a Pastor is always a member of the Logos Governing Body. The Governing Body will use its power and authority to achieve the vision, aims and objectives of the school. The Governing Body will appoint an administrator to manage the school. The Governing Body will assist the administrator in the proper running of the school. The Governing Body will ensure the long-term sustainability of the school. The Governing Body shall conduct its business not for the object of personal or financial gain of its members. To protect the schools assets the Robertson Logos Christian School Fundraising Trust was established to provide funds for the school with its beneficiaries the pupils of the Robertson Logos Christian School, for the period that they are pupils of the school. The financial markets were unstable, interested parties had children at the school and the late Mr. Jan De Villiers told bidders that the building was for a Christian school. On hearing that it was for a Christian School the man told the bidder to stop as his child attends a Christian School in George. Only Investec Bank was willing, on proviso that the money was lent to an individual whom they could sue for defaulting on the loan agreement. Subsequently, Dr. Bruwer asked the RLCS Governing Body and the parents if anybody would stand surety for the loan with him and become a co-trustee. So the Bruwer & Barry Trust was established with the RLCS Fundraising Trust as its beneficiary. In turn, the beneficiaries of the RLCS Fundraising Trust are the learners of RLCS. and the considerable builders fees to repair the building. In a symbolic gesture the learners marched from the Show Grounds to 63 Hope Street. His parents testimony that he knew that he was going to heaven, the only comfort. The arson investigators believe that a tenant left a hot plate on under their curtains causing them to catch alight and send the fire into the roof. The principal, Mr. Booysen, and 2 senior learners were quick to respond but the nature of the fire was such that the hand held fire extinguishers were ineffective. Fortunately, the fire broke out during 2nd break, whilst none of the learners were in the school nor tenants at home and no one succumbed in the blaze, which virtually destroyed the top floor of the building. A year later, RLCS moved back to a completely revamped school!
